 Welcome to Mater Dei Catholic Primary School

We look forward to working in partnership with you to provide an environment that fosters your child's development and meets their educational needs. At Mater Dei, we work to provide a holistic education, one that develops your child spiritually, academically, socially, physically and emotionally, in a community that is underpinned by gospel values.
 

We aim to cater for students different learning styles by incorporating a variety of learning opportunities across the curriculum as well as providing many extra-curricular activities to enhance their learning.
High expectations are set for student learning. There is a deep belief and resolve that each child be given the opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability, through appropriate and sensitive teaching. Students are encouraged to accept responsibility for their own learning and become life-long learners.
As a Catholic school we work with parents to give each child the opportunity to experience the fullness of their faith, to provide opportunities to practise it and to foster each child's growth as part of the Sacred Heart Kooringal Parish.
 
At Mater Dei you will find a school community comprising: dedicated staff, interested and involved parents, students who are proud of their achievements and their school. We provide well-resourced classrooms and playing areas and, most importantly, a shared vision to provide an environment where every child is valued and can experience success.
